NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT COMPANY
No offer of intent should be construed from this legal notice that the District intends to enter into a contract with the interested Food Service Management Company (hereinafter referred to as “FSMC”) unless, in the sole opinion of the District, it is in the best interest of the District to do so. The District reserves the right to negotiate final contractual terms with the successful FSMC.
The April 26, 2023 Request for Proposal (
A proposal conference visit will be held on June 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Bucklin Schools, 422 S Main St., Bucklin, KS 67834. Each FSMC is limited to a maximum of two representatives. All questions related to this bid must be submitted in writing to Kelly Lampe, Superintendent, at lampek@usd459.org before June 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
Written proposals must be in a sealed envelope and labeled “Proposal FSMC RFP #2023-2024” and addressed to USD 459, Attn: Kelly Lampe, Superintendent, at P.O. Box 8, Bucklin, KS 67834, no later than June 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Proposals received after scheduled closing cannot be considered.
The district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any errors or corrections in a proposal or in the proposal process. The District will award the contract based upon review and analysis of the proposals to determine which proposal best meets the needs of the District.
Following the review and analysis of all responsive proposals, the District will make a recommendation to the Board of Education.
